Comedian of Law’s Top Ten Wacky Cases – #7 – Pelman v. McDonald’s

“I blame Obama!” seems to be the slogan for most Americans, seeking to cast blame for personal agitations, but child obesity isn’t one that sticks.  Thanks Michelle!

So when the Pelman family decided to seek happiness at the bottom of a Big Mac box and it resulted in waistband inflation, they went after the clown; Ronald McDonald, that is.  They accused McDonald’s of false advertising after watching a series of commercials featuring healthy, happy families enjoying a meal under the golden arches and then adopting a similar lifestyle themselves, expecting the same results.  Sorry Pelmans, but I’m pretty sure the slogan is “I’m lovin’ it”,  NOT “I’m eatin’ it.”  Check out this video for more details and the final ruling!
