Everyone has heard the funny quip that grammar kills: there is a huge difference between “let’s eat, grandma” and “let’s eat grandma!” In the same way, poor grammar can kill your legal career. Bad grammar tips the court off that your research is subpar, your case is weak and details bore you. This class, for all attorneys, looks at common grammar mistakes in legal briefing and the best writing practices.
Instructions: To start this course please click on “Video 1”. The course is broken up into four 15 minute segments (for 1 hour courses) or four 30 minute segments (for 2 hour courses). You must complete each video segment in order to move on to the next.
