This is pure heaven – combining sports and the law! Not since someone discovered the utopian pleasure of combining peanut butter and chocolate has such a combination been so heavenly inspired. This is a series on what happens with athletes call their attorneys. Can the NFL require any prospective employee to be three years removed from high school? Is the one and done rule in the NBA an anti-trust violation? And speaking of anti-trust violations, what’s up with the NCAA universities agreeing amongst themselves to set the salary of all collegiate players at diddly-squat? Is this legal?? If an attorney wants to handle sports related cases, from injuries caused to spectators, to criminal repercussions for athlete’s statements, to lawsuits against a team for violating the rules of the sport, this class offers practical tips, and a few laughs along the way.
