What is it?

Comedian of Law offers live webinars bringing the latest in legal education using comedy. Through skits, videos, interviews, Comedian of Law tries to honor John Cleese’s admonition that “he who laughs most learns best.”

What topics are covered?

The live webinar series will cover a myriad of legal topics including the U.S. Supreme Court, wacky cases, ethics, thriving in your legal practice, personal injury, criminal law, family law and more. If you are interested in a particular topic that is not scheduled to be covered, contact Comedian of Law and let us know. We will make every effort to add that class to our schedule.

How often will Comedian of Law offer a live webinar class?

Comedian of Law will offer a class at least once per month. During the “deadline months”, we will offer several webinars. The “deadline” months are January, February, June, and December.

How can an attorney request to be interviewed for a live webinar?

Comedian of Law is looking for attorneys who are experts in their practice area to interview for a class. If this interests you, contact Comedian of Law.

How can I sign up to attend a live webinar?

Visit the webinar page of our website at Choose the webinar you want to register for and click on register. The system will then guide you through the very simple process. Please note that registration for webinars will close 1-hour before the start time of the webinar.

In what states are the webinars approved?

Comedian of Law will seek to get each webinar approved so it can count for CLE credit in the following states: Georgia, Kansas, Mississippi, Missouri, Nevada, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Tennessee. Comedian of Law will provide the approved jurisdictions for each individual webinar prior to each class. If your state is not listed, the class still might count for credit under your state’s CLE rules. Contact your state rules to see if it recognizes CLE credits earned in other states.

How much do webinars cost?

1-hour, single course price is currently $49 and 2-hour courses are $79. Subscriptions range from $250 (1 year subscription), $350 (2 year subscription) and $500 (all –access subscription to all of Comedian of Law’s web-based courses, on-demand and live webinars.)
